The marvellous thing about ABC is that you can download 100s of tunes in a very short time (seconds) as they are produced in ASCII format. You then use your soundcard to manipulate the music when you play it back. The music can then be played and / or printed. Click here for the ABC homepage . |

This program lets you print out the music (you have to fiddle with copy & paste). It is an excellent companion to abcmus. |

They estimate there are around 10000 tunes on
this same site - We had to set up a folder to hold all the tunes with sub
folders for French, Irish etc. the abcmus software has a great search
facility.
